Jodi Lynn Picoult is an American writer. She was awarded the New England Bookseller Award for fiction in 2003. Currently approximately 14 million copies of her books are in print worldwide, translated into 34 languages.

Handle with care is a story about a child name willow who is born with a disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It is also known as brittle bone disease in which the bones break easily. Willow is a special child as she can’t do things, what the children of her age do. Everytime she takes a hard move or turns on a bed she breaks a bone. Her mother loves her a lot that is why she filed a case against her best friend for a wrongful birth. She is seen fighting with her best friend and she tells the world she would have never been born.
